One of our goals at ReloDenver and The Kearns Team is to help make the relocation process a little easier so you can focus on adjusting to your new home and getting your family settled. Through Michael Kearns' 16 years experience in corporate Human Resources, we provide unique insights and assistance to help you through the relocation process. Not only did Michael hire and relocate hundreds of employees as a Human Resources Director, he also experienced corporate relocations eight times, moving from coast to coast and back again!

Today we assist the employees of many major local employers, including DoubleClick Inc. and Ultimate Electronics, for whom we handle all their employee relocations. We also work with all the major relocation services companies including Cendant, Weichert, Prudential, RE/MAX, and Graebel. Moving on your own and not covered by a relocation policy? Over the years we've developed and collected a slew of tips and tools to help our clients through their personal relocations. Here are a few to get you started:

Tips

Plan ahead. Once you know you're going to be moving, take some time to research your new home town. Throughout the ReloDenver website you'll find links to helpful information about Denver and the surrounding areas.
Make a notebook. Collect information in a notebook or binder so you can have it all in one place. When you start househunting, take a digital camera so you can remember the homes and neighborhoods you saw.
Involve the kids. Moving can be especially stressful on children as they leave their friends and maybe the only home they've ever known. Talk to them. Ask what they like about their current room, house, and neighborhood. Make sure to listen to what they have to say!
Talk to a mortgage broker or loan officer. Have an idea of what you can afford, before you start looking. If you don't already have a mortgage broker, we can give recommendations.
